CTO Cofounder | Rentless

Rentless, a rapidly growing platform that connects landlords and tenants directly, is seeking a hands-on CTO Cofounder to lead the technical vision and development of the platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and AWS infrastructure, as well as a passion for scaling innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Drive the technical direction and architecture of Rentless, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Collaborate with the CEO to align the tech strategy with the overall business vision.

Hands-On Development: Actively participate in day-to-day coding and system design using the MERN stack. Lead by example, contributing to key features, bug fixes, and system optimizations.

AWS Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and scaling of the platform’s infrastructure on AWS, including server management, database scaling, and security measures.

Team Building & Mentorship: As Rentless grows, build and mentor a tech team, fostering a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and accountability. Manage both in-house and external development resources.

Product Roadmap: Collaborate with the CEO to define and prioritize the product roadmap, turning business goals into technical deliverables. Ensure the platform evolves to meet user needs while maintaining high availability.

Security & Compliance: Implement robust security practices, ensuring data protection and platform resilience. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and AWS best practices to safeguard user data.

Innovation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for technological improvements, optimize performance, and keep Rentless on the cutting edge by evaluating new technologies and tools that can enhance the platform.

As a CTO Cofounder, you will play a critical role in the future growth of Rentless, helping the platform scale while bringing innovation to the rental market.
