Co-Founder for Thriving Digital Marketing Bootcamp (Equity Role)

JobPrepped is looking to bring on a co-founder who is passionate about digital marketing, hungry to grow a company, and ready to take on the challenge of wearing many hats so that we can scale our already successful business to the next level from a 7-figure business into an 8-figure business.

About Us:
JobPrepped is a Digital Marketing Bootcamp with 5 programs that helps people get their first digital marketing job, advance their marketing career, become freelancers, help small businesses owners, and provides company trainings. We have been around for 4 years, have been profitable since year 1, have won the award for Best Digital Marketing Bootcamp by Career Karma, Course Report, and Bootcamp Rankings in 2023 and 2024 and have a 4.95 Google Review rating. We have received multiple acquisition offers but have turned them down as we feel we can grow this much more by bringing in the right co-founder. We have a product that people love and now we’d liked to bring in a co-founder that is driven, creative, and adaptable to help us scale our marketing and sales to the next level as a co-founder.

Who You Will Be Working With:
You will be working directly with the Founder of JobPrepped Joseph Blanco. Joseph has been in the education space for over a decade as he was previously a Top-Level Former Fortune 500 Marketing and Sales Executive with Kaplan where he managed 500+ people. His years of experience running a large education company at Kaplan and growing it quickly gave him the confidence to break off and start his own successful education company, JobPrepped.

What We’re Looking For:
We need someone who:

• Is going to grow our company on social media and help us also establish partnerships with businesses and organizations. This is the main thing we need and where most of your focus will go.
• Is hungry to grow a company.
• Can wear multiple hats, as all co-founders do!
• Is a good designer with experience using Canva so that our posts look attractive.
• Has basic WordPress skills for when we need to make adjustments to our program or with student payments
• Is highly motivated, proactive, and excited about the startup life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow our social media presence across platforms.
• Establish partnerships with businesses, organizations, and influencers to increase brand awareness and growth.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives to expand our offerings and reach.
• Help shape the overall direction of the company as we scale.
• Help ensure that our website and course runs smoothly and is able to hop into our website to make any necessary tweaks (you don’t need to be a Wordpress expert by any means but we will need to teach you how to adjust student payments and upload course material onto our site and things of that nature). Not much time will be spent on this as your primary role will be to grow us from a social media and partnership standpoint.

Experience Required:

• Proven track record of growing a social media following via content marketing
• Experience with Canva or other design tools
• Sales or business development background (not mandatory but would like)
• Basic Wordpress knowledge (not mandatory but would like)
• Worked at a start-up previously (not mandatory but would like)

What’s in it for you:

• Equity-based role: This is an equity based role and you will receive a percentage of the company based on our current valuation. You will be paid each month based on our profits just like any founder. If we decide to sell, you will of course be paid your entire percentage of the company. Our goal is to get the company to be worth at least $15 million before considering a sale or acquisition.
