Tech Lead

Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead for our tech team, proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, and comfortable in GCP, React Native, and React JS. This is a hands-on role and shall be pivotal in designing code and cloud architectures, with scalability and performance, and ensuring high standards of code security and quality.

This person should have built financial applications specially in the capital markets or investment domains. Preferred: You should also have a interest in financial markets & investing in general.

Your Role

1. Lead and Mentor: Guide team members through technical challenges, ensuring code quality and system scalability. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages. innovation and growth.
2. Architectural Design: Develop robust code and cloud architecture strategies to support scalable and secure applications.
3. Delivery management: Oversee project timelines and deliverables, managing tasks and resources efficiently to meet strategic goals.
4. Documentation and Standards: Establish and maintain high standards of documentation, ensuring all processes and codebases are up to date and accessible.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Actively participate in gathering requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment of technical objectives with business goals.

Qualifications

1. Technical Proficiency: Strong background in Python, PostgreSQL. Good knowledge of GCP, React Native, and React JS.
2. Architecture Design: Experienced in designing scalable and secure cloud and code architectures.
3. Leadership: Experience leading tech teams, with a knack for mentoring and guiding developers in a dynamic environment.
4. Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and articulate technical concepts clearly.
5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of navigating complex technical challenges.
6. Qualifications: 6-8 years of core development experience.
