About this position
This is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with business, product and engineering teams across the organization to build, maintain and evolve the Bridge platform. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are eager to apply their knowledge in a fast paced and collaborative environment, helping modernize the way that businesses find, compare and select capital. As the VP, Software Engineering, your core responsibilities will be to build and own the software development lifecycle of the product and technical roadmap that supports the platform. Each day presents new opportunities to help businesses compare and select lenders.
This role is a key member of our team and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

How you will make an impact
Lead, mentor, and manage our platform development team by fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment and ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback.
Set a high bar on engineering excellence and drive best practices for architecture, software development, including DevOps and other lean model development and testing strategies to accelerate time-to-market.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of platform/technical roadmaps and implementing testing and validation processes for all features and updates.
Work closely product management, business analysis, UX/UI design, and business stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, infrastructure/architecture optimization and implementation of best practices.
Monitor progress against deliverables and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
Provide technical guidance and direction to the development team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to help Bridge take advantage of new capabilities and deliver industry leading products to consumers.
What you bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in agile software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing development teams, with remote management experience a plus.
Hands-on experience with full-stack development, AWS cloud technologies, modern software development methodologies.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
Passion for Fintech and/or Technology and its potential to improve financial services.
A relationship builder with the proven ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, influence, and make decisions in a team environment.
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit to challenge the status quo, take smart risks, and get your hands dirty.
Open-minded, humble, and curious with an eagerness to learn, grow, and succeed.
