Senior Engineer - Mobile Development

Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer - Mobile Development with 0-1+ years of experience in mobile app development and 3+ years on Flutter to join our team at Edmingle. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining features on the mobile application. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills who can work independently as well as in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for both Android and iOS applications.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, improving app performance and responsiveness.
• Participate in the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept to release.
• Stay updated on Flutter best practices and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in terms of code quality and development practices.
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• 0-1 year of experience in mobile app development (internships, personal projects, or freelance work also count).
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Flutter and Dart.
• Basic knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and state management (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc).
• Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for startups: willingness to work in a dynamic environment and take on challenges with a proactive mindset.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and an eagerness to grow in the role.
