About Talentism

Talentism is on a mission to build "Clarity Companies" - organizations that consistently win by systematically unleashing the potential of their people. We work with CEOs, founders, and executive teams to significantly and measurably increase their speed of learning, helping companies increase value for employees, customers, and investors.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Westport, Connecticut, Talentism has delivered its IP and methodology to over 800 organizations. Our approach is built on disciplines including neuroscience, psychology, evolutionary biology, and adult development theory to help people produce learning cycles, achieve goals, and win.

We are seeking a Head of Service Offerings who will work closely with our coaches, clients, and leadership team to develop new and scale existing services-based products.

Context

Talentism's core business comprises a strategic mix of service, product, and project deliveries structured into engagements with our clients. We've worked with more than 800 organizations and 4,000+ founders, CEOs, and senior executives across seed-stage to post-IPO companies.

As we look to the next stage of growth we are in need of someone who can provide hands-on
development for our product suite as they collect feedback, compile requirements, iterate on
designs and launch new products. This is largely an individual contributor role that requires
someone to be comfortable with “hands-on” work while working collaboratively with many
people across the organization. It will require self-management and prioritization of where to
spend time and attention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to identify opportunities for new services and improvements to existing offerings, ensuring alignment with customer needs and preferences
  • Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritization
  • Translate ideas and strategic concepts into pragmatic, scalable solutions, leveraging evidence-based insights
  • Evaluate and implement lightweight, off-the-shelf technology tools to streamline and enhance service delivery
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration
  • Establish and optimize processes for product development, launch, and iteration, focusing on key metrics such as customer satisfaction, adoption rates, and operational efficiency
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based decision making, empowering team members to contribute ideas and insights

A Successful Candidate likely has:

  • Experience in a founder-led, services business context
  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in a services-based industry
  • A curiosity and desire to dig into practical issues and visualize solutions
  • An obsession with delivering on commitments and driving results
  • A willingness to work with a small, homegrown team who may be unfamiliar with standard, product management practices
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling products, with a focus on customer-centric design
  • Proficiency in using lightweight technology tools for productivity and collaboration, with the ability to quickly evaluate and adopt new solutions as needed
  • The ability to manage and communicate clearly when navigating ambiguity with cross-functional teams
  • A desire to be a part of a culture obsessed with helping people unleash their potential and figuring out a career path that is uniquely suited for them

Location: Fully remote (mostly across ET to PT time zones)
Employment Type: Full-time
