Senior Full Stack Engineer (node/express/react/postgres/redis/AWS) (Clone)

Tab Commerce is restaurant technology company utilizing a cost control payments platform platform for the restaurant industry. From the largest national chains to local independents, restaurants of all sizes face costly challenges and headwinds managing their spend resulting in much lower profitability.

With restaurants across North America spending over $500B each year, we're attacking a massive problem. Our goal is to increase the profitability of restaurants with the most automated, intelligent cost control platform for the industry. We're putting the power and leverage back into the hands of restaurants.

We're a small but incredibly hard working team of people with intersecting experience across restaurants & technology. Today, we work with groups that include Wendy's, Michelin Star restaurants, large pub groups, major associations, and more - including the family restaurants of Tab's founder & CEO, Ty Wilson.

We started 2023 with $4M of annual costs managed through our platform, and are ending 2024 with over $100M. 2024 will be an even more pivotal year for the company, and we're looking for a hard working, exceptional full-stack engineer to join the team and help us make it happen.

We have a presence in both Toronto, Ontario and Austin, Texas.

Role Description

As a Full Stack Engineer at Tab Commerce, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software applications. The role requires programming skills in both front-end and back-end technologies. This is a full-time remote position.

We're looking for someone who is exceptionally intelligent, hard working, and has high agency.

Qualifications

Proficiency in NodeJS, React, NestJS
Experience with Postgres or other SQL technologies
Strong problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset
Ability to understand and analyze business requirements
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with restaurant technology is a plus, but not required
