What You'll Be Focusing On:

• Architect and Implement: Design, implement, and ship product features, including frontend components, layouts, and integration with smart contracts.
• Frontend Best Practices: Utilize best practices for building, debugging, testing, and documenting frontend applications.
• Collaborate on Back End: Assist with backend and smart contract development to ensure seamless integration.
• Improve Workflows: Enhance backend workflows (e.g., GitHub collaboration, PR reviews, architecture, documentation, key management, pricer bots).
• Code Reviews and Support: Support peers through code reviews, acceptance testing, and bug fixing.
• Feature Brainstorming: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new features and improve existing ones.
• Iterate Quickly: Deliver quick iterations without compromising on quality.
• Hiring and Community Engagement: Help in hiring new team members and engage with users on platforms like Discord.
• Contribute to DeFi Community: Actively participate in and contribute to the broader DeFi ecosystem.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Engineering Fundamentals: Strong software engineering fundamentals with a passion for frontend development.
• Smart Contract Experience: Proven experience in writing and deploying smart contracts.
• Frontend Expertise: Proficient with NextJS, React, HTML, CSS, and Typescript.
• Ethereum Development: Familiarity with Ethereum frontend development using web3.js, ethers.js, and The Graph.
• UI Implementation: Ability to translate Figma designs into functional user interfaces.
• Effective Communicator: Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to effectively communicate concepts across teams.
• Crypto Enthusiast: Passionate about crypto applications, particularly in DeFi, with an interest in perpetual protocols.
• Mathematical Knowledge: Basic understanding of calculus and probability.
• Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn, adapt, and solve problems to create delightful user experiences.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, delivering tangible results.
• Technical Advancements: Keeps up with the latest advancements in Ethereum development and quickly learns new tools and services.
