UI/Visual Designer

Job Summary:As a Visual Designer and UI/UX Expert at Febi.ai, you will be integral to shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our financial products and services. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to create user-centered designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. This role offers an opportunity to lead design initiatives, refine our design systems, and contribute to the overall product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership: Lead the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our financial products, translating UX wireframes into high-fidelity designs that align with our brand identity and business goals.
Collaboration: Partner with UX designers, product managers, and cross-functional global stakeholders to understand requirements and co-create innovative solutions that enhance user experience.
Best Practice: Apply and uphold UI best practices to ensure that design solutions are scalable across our product suite and drive continuous innovation.
Design System: Apply and advocate for UI/UX best practices, ensuring design solutions are scalable, accessible, and consistently drive innovation across our product suite.
Design Systems: Take ownership of the development, refinement, and maintenance of our Design Systems to ensure a cohesive and exceptional user experience across all platforms.
Guidance and Validation: Provide design guidance to the development team and ensure that implementations accurately reflect the design vision through regular audits and reviews.
Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and actively incorporate new ideas to keep our designs at the cutting edge.
Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and interns, sharing knowledge and providing feedback to elevate the overall design quality within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 to 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality digital designs and a deep understanding of design principles.
Expertise in design fundamentals including Typography, Color Theory, and Layout, across multiple platforms and modalities.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, and a strong understanding of Android and iOS design guidelines.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing product design strategy.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
