DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join us in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Services: Manage and optimize AWS services including VPC, EC2, SQS, CloudWatch, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, ElastiCache
• Kubernetes Administration: Maintain and administer Kubernetes clusters, ensuring efficient resource utilization and application performance
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI pipelines using Jenkins and CD pipelines with Spinnaker
• Monitoring and Observability: Utilize tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, and Prometheus for monitoring and observability
• Logging: Set up and manage logging systems using the ELK stack or other relevant tools like Logio and Loki to enable effective log management and analysis
• Automation: Develop and maintain shell scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate routine tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
• Alerting: Create and monitor critical alerts
• Database Management: Manage database migrations, backups, and restores. Develop and implement backup strategies to ensure data integrity & availability
• Cassandra Knowledge: Have basic knowledge of Cassandra for database operations and maintenance
• Production Experience: Apply prior production experience to understand and manage business-critical hours and ensure high availability of services
• Troubleshooting: Possess strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly
• Collaboration: Coordinate with development teams to facilitate the DevOps methodology, ensuring a seamless and efficient release process
• Infrastructure Stability and Security: Ensure the infrastructure remains stable, secure
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Proficiency with AWS services, particularly VPC, EC2, SQS, CloudWatch, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, and ElastiCache
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration and container orchestration
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, & Prometheus
• Experience with logging systems such as the ELK stack, Logzio, or Loki.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience in creating and managing alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
• Knowledge of database management, including migration, backup, and restore strategies
• Basic knowledge of Cassandra database operations
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with development teams
• A proactive approach to maintaining the stability, security, and integrity of infrastructure
