As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will serve as a key leader within ScrapUncle, taking ownership of critical processes such as daily operations, logistics, recruitment, and business expansion. You will work closely with the CEO to provide strategic guidance, manage critical projects, and drive the overall growth of the company. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a fast-growing startup that is leading the charge in waste management and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, providing strategic insights and guidance to drive the company's success.
b) Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including pickup logistics, warehousing, recruitment, and business expansion efforts.
c) Project Management: Manage critical projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
d) Business Development: Identify key business opportunities and challenges, offering insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
e) Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and customers, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and objectives.
f) Support Functions: Contribute to marketing, fundraising, legal processes, and other vital business functions as needed.
g) Performance Evaluation: Evaluate business performance by analyzing data and KPIs to ensure profitable unit economics.
h) Scaling: Lead efforts to scale the business exponentially, with a goal of growing the business X to 100X.
