Contract Role:
LIMS Consultant/ Analyst
Providence RI, Onsite

Duration: 6 months contract
Rate range: $60-$65/hr. on C2C MAX
Core Responsibilities: • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Understanding the laboratory's specific needs, workflows, and data management requirements to inform the LIMS implementation strategy. • System Configuration: Providing requirements to the LIMS vendor for customizing the LIMS software to match the laboratory's specific requirements, including data structures, workflows, and reporting. • Data Migration: Assist in evaluating strategies for transferring existing laboratory data into the new LIMS system accurately and efficiently. • User Training: Developing and delivering training programs to laboratory staff on how to effectively use the LIMS system. • System Validation: Ensuring the LIMS system meets regulatory compliance standards and performs as expected. • Go-Live Support: Providing on-site or remote support during the initial implementation and system launch. • Post-Implementation Support: Offering ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. Additional Responsibilities: • Project Management: Overseeing the LIMS implementation project, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation. • Change Management: Managing the transition to the new LIMS system, addressing concerns, and fostering user adoption. • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to optimize laboratory workflows and improve efficiency through LIMS utilization. • System Integration: Integrating the LIMS with other laboratory systems, such as instruments and data management platforms. • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and improve laboratory performance. Required Skills and Knowledge: • Strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows. • Expertise in LIMS software and configuration. • Project management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Technical proficiency in database management and software applications. Education and Experience: • Should have 3 to 5 years of practical experience with Lab Information Systems, Middleware solutions, Laboratory Automation, HL7/ASTM Standards, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Systems Integration. • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Biological Sciences, or Medical Technologies
