Software Engineer (Frontend/Product)

August Schools is the first comprehensive Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for schools. Our product is the hub for K12 student support, including school nurses, counselors, athletic trainers, learning specialists, administrators, and more.

Now in our fourth year, we've deployed into many of the top private and independent schools in the country. We’re expanding our footprint in public, and our student count will multiply this school year.

We’re looking for engineers to join our team for our next stage of growth as we scale to serve millions of students nation-wide.

• Complex charting for encounter documentation by practitioners
• Form builder for self-serve product customization by customers
• "Robo-nurse" extraction of immunization data from raw PDFs powered by AI
• Chat GPT interface for our in-house query language, AugQL
• Report builder and analytics over arbitrary queries and calculations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Strong collaboration skills and hunger for technical growth
• Ownership mindset & passion for modular, efficient, and usable code
