Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Manager specializing in renewable energy and green assets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and managing investments within the renewable energy sector. This role involves leading the investment strategy, financial modeling, project analysis overseeing and fund raise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the investment strategies and fund raise for renewable energy and green assets.
Analyze the project feasibility and prepare financial models
Prepare the project report, CMA and project valuations
Identify and due diligence and financial analysis.
Manage the existing portfolio of green assets, ensuring optimal performance and returns.
Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to structure deals, secure financing, and manage investment risks.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including developers, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the board of directors.
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform investment decisions.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on portfolio performance and growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is desirable.
Extensive experience as an Investment Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on renewable energy, green assets, or related industries.
Strong expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial modeling.
In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including market dynamics, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to structure complex deals and manage investment risks effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Bloomberg, or similar platforms.
Strong network within the renewable energy and finance communities.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to sustainability.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
