We are seeking a high performing individual contributor to grow market share for Nectir AI. You will work with Higher Education Institutions to improve student outcomes through implementing AI Learning Partners across the curriculum.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year + commission, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Engage with potential new prospects through both inbound inquiries as well as through prospecting via outbound channels such as emails and cold calling.
- Engage in a consultative sales process to understand each institution’s unique needs and requirements and to establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at higher education institutions including executives, department heads and influencers.
- Develop a strong understanding of institutions’ organizational structures and decision making processes in order to navigate the sales process.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations and effectively communicate Nectir AI’s value proposition.
- Lead the contract negotiation process, including pricing and deal terms, and manage deals through closure.
- Expand existing account value through identifying and securing new revenue opportunities.
- Effectively manage a pipeline and provide regular forecast updates.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quota and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams including product, marketing, community, legal and finance to ensure smooth deal closure and implementation.
- Provide informative feedback to the internal teams to help shape product roadmap and improve the customer experience.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of proven enterprise sales experience.
- Self-starter that is comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working at early stage companies is preferred.
- Understanding of educational pedagogy and experience successfully selling to higher education institutions is preferred.
- Experience selling enterprise level software, SaaS sales and services.
- Experience selling at all levels, including C level and above.
- Ability to craft compelling proposals that effectively communicate value and align with the specific needs of the client.
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
- Proven success identifying growth opportunities and driving additional revenue from existing accounts.
