As the Regional Director, Bolt Food you will be responsible for managing the P&L and leading our local teams in 8 European countries focusing on revenue growth, improving operational and capital efficiency, and improving the experience for our Eaters, Merchants and Couriers.

About the role
You will be zooming-in and zooming-out. Working closely with our central functions you will be responsible for setting the strategy on how to grow your markets efficiently and then implementing this strategy through local teams. At the same time supporting local teams in problem solving day-to-day operational challenges to make sure we achieve our performance targets.
You will be a leader responsible for hiring and nurturing high quality talent to build a world class team. You will be a member of the Global Delivery Management Team and managing a team of around +100 people divided into: General Managers, Sales, Account Management, Merchant and Courier Operations.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for achieving growth, profitability and operational KPIs for your region. You will manage the region's P&L making sure that we achieve financial targets while making tradeoffs across the P&L to drive efficient growth with a focus on the long-term;
- You will set the strategy for your region working closely with central teams and General Managers focusing on long-term sustainable growth while problem-solving day-to-day operational challenges;
- You will focus on developing our product offering by improving the selection, the service and the value that we offer to our Eaters while also improving the experience for our merchants and courier partners;
- You will manage a diverse set of teams making sure they hit their performance targets including sales, account management and operations teams;
- You will organise your teams in a structured way to help to make sure teams are aligned with business priorities while developing individuals and building a culture where it is safe to fail and learn;
- You will work closely with central growth, commercial and operational teams to make sure we are utilising our central resources to have the largest impact on the ground as possible;
About you:
- You have 10+ years of experience in business leadership, leading large teams with experience in operating in matrix structures driving results across multiple geographies;
- You enjoy switching from small to high scale and vice versa. You know strategic thinking without operational detail is not a winning formula;
- You enjoy solving complex problems through an analytical mindset where you use data to inform your decisions;
- You focus on building clear simple processes built on first principles and you continuously look to optimize to drive out 1% improvements;
- You are a leader where you use your people skills to drive change and develop your team;
- You know how to navigate ambiguity and to influence stakeholders based on evidence, commitment and subject matter expertise.
