About this role:
The Manufacturing Production Scheduler is responsible for establishing and managing the master production schedule, working with several internal teams to ensure that projects are ready to be started and completed on time.
A day in the life:
Create and maintain production master schedule to ensure continuous plant operations
Ensure optimization of project planning, execution, and controls
Monitor customer orders and work with Project Managers to align customer expectations with production availability
Monitor and manage scope variations
Help to identify critical path, resolve resource conflicts, material availability and manufacturing issues
Assist with inventory management
Communicate daily/weekly/monthly production schedule with Production Manager and Project Managers. This includes leading production schedule review meetings with project status, customer requirements, notifications of delays, etc
Create scheduling and materials reports to identify materials shortages, customer shipment issues and labor requirements
Drive cross departmental cooperation between procurement, materials management and production departments to ensure that lead times, current inventories and warehouse levels are accurate to drive order fulfillment
Monitor, identify and manage continuous improvement of the scheduling process
Review the 90 day production schedule and proactively identify workforce, materials, and shipping issues with the leadership team
You will thrive in this role if:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3-5 years experience of production planning required
Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Solid computer literacy in MS Office and Google products (specifically Excel/Sheets) and the ability to learn new software quickly
Experience with software related to schedule & demand planning is preferred (Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - (Oracle, SAP, Acumatica)
Eager to learn with strong listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates professionalism and is willing to take on additional responsibility as needed
This person performs as a team player, always shows a positive attitude towards teammates, and strives for constant improvement in process and delivery
Manufacturing experience (metal mfg / electrical mfg preferred), strong understanding of material flows
ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus
Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs
Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily
Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
This position is designated a safety sensitive position and/or is located in a safety sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required
Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation:
Compensation will be in the range of $65,000 -$85,0000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
