Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for automating cloud infrastructure and streamlining deployment processes.

What Success Will Look Like:

• Design and develop the company's operational platform, ensuring it meets the needs of various teams and projects.
• Design and develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and operations processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like Jenkins, argocd and GitHub.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure by creating and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and services, utilizing monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Participate in the development of microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Continuously improve the efficiency of our operations by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
• Document processes and provide training to other team members to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and operational excellence.

Who You Are & What You've Done:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on development.
• Proficient in one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking concepts and experience with network security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English, essential for collaborating across different departments and geographies.
• A proactive approach to learning and staying current with DevOps best practices and technologies.

Preferred:

• Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps) principles.
