SAP Basis Infra Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, particularly in medium to large-scale SAP implementations, including S/4HANA and SAP Cloud. This role requires hands-on experience in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and administration, along with strong project planning and communication skills. The candidate should be well-versed in ITIL and project life cycle concepts, with the ability to manage complex SAP landscapes.

Mandatory Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration/Projects, with experience in medium to large-scale SAP implementations.
• Hands-on experience with S/4 Green Field Implementations, S/4 Cloud implementation/support, SAP Upgrades using SUM, and migration to HANA using DMO.
• Experience with SAP HEC and coordination with AMS providers or vendor resources.
• Expertise in general SAP Administration, including Activity Planning, SAP Refresh, System Maintenance, SAP System Decommission, Space Utilization & Management, SAP Patching, SAP Notes Application, and Incident Management.
• Proficiency in Database management for both HANA and non-HANA databases.
• Experience in High Availability systems and understanding of SOlMan, Backup, DR, and designing complex SAP Landscapes involving multiple New Dimension products.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and Project Life Cycle concepts.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proven project planning and scoping abilities.

Nice to Have:
• Implementation experience with S/4HANA version 1809 or above.
• Experience with SAP Cloud solutions and hybrid environments.
• Certification in SAP Basis, S/4HANA, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of emerging SAP technologies and trends.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the SAP environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead and execute SAP system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, particularly for S/4HANA and SAP Cloud.
• Coordinate with AMS providers and vendor resources to ensure smooth operations and support.
• Perform regular SAP system maintenance, including SAP Refresh, patching, system decommissioning, and space management.
• Manage database administration tasks for both HANA and non-HANA databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and implement complex SAP landscapes, including high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP project planning, scoping, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL and project life cycle best practices.
• Provide incident management and resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
