Senior Kotlin Backend Developer (m/f/d)

Your role:

You ...

• work remotely anywhere from Europe and travel to the office in Germany every few months to meet everyone at our company events or hackathons.
• work on existing applications as well as on the introduction of new functionalities in our backend.
• design and implement features in a team and follow agile principles and values.
• ensure code quality through code review, pair programming and testing.
• have the commitment to help shape and develop our development process in the team through feedback and retrospectives.
• coach less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer working on backend systems
• experience in full cycle development. CI/CD, Database design, system and application architecture
• relevant experience with Kotlin/Java and Webframeworks (such as Spring, Micronaut, Vert.x, Quarkus, JEE, Ktor) - We use Kotlin and Micronaut
• you write well testable and tested code
• interest in developing your own skills and those of your team
• strong ownership for your topics, you want to get things done
• strong communicator, both written and spoken
