Software Engineer - Vision & AI/ML

Terafac is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Team focused on making a transformational AI-Vision platform for Industrial Robots. The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on training Computer Vision and Robotics AI models. The position will involve taking these skills and applying them to solve for some of the most crucial & most exciting technology challenges of our generation. We are hiring in Chandigarh.

Software Engineer - Vision & AI/ML

• Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build models that improve Terafac’s AI Vision platform.
• Involved in goal setting related to the effort, AI system design, and ML excellence
• Drive efforts across multiple teams
• Work with other AI Engineers & improve the quality of AI work in the broader team
• Read research around Computer Vision, Generative AI and Robotics, and share your learnings with the team.
• Understand model architectures, define use cases, and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
• Apply in-depth knowledge of how the machine learning system interacts with the other systems around it.
• Collaborate with Terafac team on their novel efforts in model training, reasoning systems, and/or learning via simulation etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in AI, ML, or computer vision projects with a portfolio of successful implementations.
• Professional project experience in one or more of the following machine learning/deep learning domains like Computer Vision, LLMs, Robotics etc.
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Version Control (Git).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deep learning and PyTorch
• Experience in computer vision, working with Point Clouds, 3D Registration etc
• Experience with libraries like OpenCV, Open3D, etc.
• Good Understanding of machine learning pipeline in production (MLOPs)
• Experience with on-device algorithm development
• Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
