About the job
Who Boundless is
We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. That is why we are building deeply customer-centric products and experiences to become the default trusted partner for all families and businesses. We are the largest player in the family immigration industry, and a high-growth challenger serving corporate clients. Across both consumer and business segments, we’ve aided over 100,000 individuals in their quest for U.S. residency.
We're backed by influential venture investors around the country, including Foundry Group (led by Brad Feld), Trilogy Equity Partners, Pioneer Square Labs, Emerson Collective (Laurene Powell Jobs’ foundation), Two Sigma Ventures, and Jerry Yang.
Today, we are a dynamic growth-stage technology company with 350+ employees across the U.S. and Philippines. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions. We are well-capitalized and positioned for long-term success.
Your Mission
At Boundless, we’re revolutionizing the business immigration experience for our clients. As Managing Immigration Counsel, you will be the primary legal and strategic advisor for a portfolio of strategic partnership clients, playing a pivotal role in their immigration journey. This isn’t your typical immigration attorney role; we’re a fast-growing, technology-forward company that thrives on innovation and efficiency. You’ll be empowered to make impactful decisions, lead strategic initiatives, and collaborate across teams to ensure our clients achieve their immigration goals with ease and confidence.
What You Will Do
- Client Strategy and Guidance: Serve as the day-to-day legal point of contact for clients and business partners, providing expert guidance on immigration matters. Develop tailored strategies for each partnership and client's immigration needs, maximizing success rates.
- Case Management Excellence: Set legal strategy and conduct evidence and case reviews for both non-immigrant (Investor E-2, O-1, New Office L-1A) as well as immigrant visa related matters (EB-1A I-140, EB-2NIW I-140, EB-5 I-526). Any H-2B experience is a plus but not required. Review and approve casework prepared by our legal and support teams before filing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Utilize our proprietary technology platform to enhance case management efficiency and client communication. Our goal is to create an infrastructure of people and technology that gives attorneys leverage to think more holistically about the client experience.
- Client Communication: Maintain a high-touch level of communication with partners and end clients.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with Project Managers, Support Representatives, Data Review Specialists, Case Production Specialists, Print Shop and other internal teams to enhance client experiences. Assist with standardization to minimize individual attorney preferences and improve company-wide consistency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the latest immigration trends and legal changes, integrating new knowledge into client strategies and internal processes. Participate in training sessions and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
About You
- Legal Expertise: You have 3-6 years of immigration experience with the case types described above and a deep understanding of immigration law. You have a proven track record of managing a high volume of immigration cases, ranging from routine to complex scenarios.
- Communication Pro: Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills enable you to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Client-Centric Visionary: Your passion for exceptional client service drives you to go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and success.
- Innovative Problem Solver: You thrive in a dynamic environment, embracing new challenges and opportunities with a proactive mindset.
- Collaborative Leader: You excel at working cross-functionally, building strong relationships, and driving collective achievements.
- Adaptable and Resilient: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change, maintaining focus and delivering results.
- Tech-Savvy: You leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
