Senior Business Analyst - B2B SaaS Fintech

Team & Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Data Team with experience in complex B2B software products as well as experience in Investment Management and a strong interest in financial analysis. The role will include both Solution Development and traditional Agile Business Analysis.

What We Are Looking For

• You will be working with UX, Design, QA and developers throughout the backlog building process, to avoid the roadblocks inherent in a sequential process
• You will be capturing and defining the processes/workflows impacted by the solution we are delivering
• You will be actively involved with Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing activities, as well as design activities
• You will be writing user stories for the Developers and UX requirements for the Product/Design teams based on business needs
• You will be serving as an integral liaison between the Engineering, Product/Design, Sales and Client Teams
• You will be removing any blockers on the development or design front
• You will be following the development process and keeping tickets up to date
• You will be testing the application manually & writing bug reports to the same standard as a Tester
• You will be working on schema and data mappings, reading APIs documentation from 3rd parties, working with the Sesame Data APIs
• You will be checking data accuracy of the information displayed in the analytics platform and in the reports
• You will be managing Azure DevOps for the development purpose

Your Skills & Expertise

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data or any related topic
• You have 6-8 years of experience working at a data analytics SaaS business preferably in Financial Services
• You are a fluent English speaker as this is the official language of the company
• You have knowledge of and work experience doing investment analyses
• You have the ability to work with distributed teams and keep everyone aligned on common goals
• You have the ability to work cross-functionally and with various stakeholders, as well as the ability to explain complex concepts in simple way and create relevant documentation for it
• You have the ability to actively manage the clients expectations and keep a log of engagement
• You have an understanding of data structures & communication protocols to be able to liaise with technical experts
