Position Overview:
We are seeking an Operations Team Lead to oversee our team of Operational Support Engineers. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our platforms and services, providing 24/7 on-call support, and maintaining excellent customer interactions. We are looking for a leader with strong technical expertise, excellent management skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Operational Support Engineers, ensuring 24/7 on-call support across different shifts.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their operational concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents.
- Oversee regular maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and backups.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of our services by implementing best practices in system administration and operations.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Report on operational performance, incidents, and customer feedback to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an operational support role, with a focus on 24/7 on-call support.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in monitoring and management tools.
- Knowledge of system administration, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability to oversee different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
