About the role

We are looking for a data manager to join our team to help us collect and process data for our language models. You will primarily work with audio and text data to develop synchronous speech-to-speech translation.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and annotating data using crowd-sourcing platforms or direct performers.
• Design and implement testing for ML algorithms.
• Analyzing test results and identifying areas for ML algorithm development.
• Automating and improving processes independently and in a team.
• Training in the necessary technical stack: basic Python, basic Bash, basic Git, creating projects for crowd-sourced data annotation.

Required Skills:

1. Being a native speaker or having advanced proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, French, German, Modern Standard Arabic, Hindi, Italian, or Mandarin.
2. English at a level sufficient for work communication.
3. Experience in data annotation, data analysis, or management.
4. Technical literacy and experience using digital tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet, search engines, YouTube.

Will be a plus:

• Basic knowledge of git/bash/python: ability to write code for simple data processing and analysis, use ready-made scripts and make corrections to them, skills in data parsing.
• Experience working with crowd-sourcing platforms such as Amazon Mechanical Turk, Toloka, and others.
