Venture | DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in site management, Docker, AWS services, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our web applications and services, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and perform optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the platform infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployment and integration.
• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, and more.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Docker and ECS to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Configure and manage load balancers, SSL certificates, and domain settings to ensure secure and scalable web traffic management.
• Monitor system performance, application health, and resolve issues proactively to ensure high availability.
• Enhance deployment processes and streamline operations
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards across all infrastructure components
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance site management and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles, with a focus on site management.
• Proficient in using Docker for containerization and managing containerized applications.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, and others.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers (ELB/ALB) and managing SSL certificates.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation and workflow management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
