Database Software Engineer (Campus Hiring)

What you will do:

Distributed System Team

• Participate in the development of database kernels and distribution system, as well as the construction of Milvus open source and Zilliz Cloud commercial versions;
• Design and build a hyper-scale, highly reliable, and easy-to-use AI infrastructure.

Search Engine Team

• Participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of the vector database core engine;
• Participate in the design and prototype verification of vector retrieval algorithms to build industry-leading vector indexing algorithm capabilities;
• Support algorithm performance optimization on new hardware GPU. What we are looking for:
• Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer science or relative majors;
• Have a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms, and be proficient in GO/C++;
• Experience in distributed system development and research is preferred;
• Good command of written and spoken English is preferred;
• Familiarity with vector retrieval or vector similarity algorithms (e.g. Faiss / HNSW / DiskANN / ScaNN etc.) ;
• Experience in high-performance computing (familiarity with hardware features such as SSDs and GPUs; Programmers who are familiar with GPUs, CUDAs);
• Problem-solving skills and a passion for technical problems.
