POSITION OVERVIEW:
Winrock is seeking candidates for Administration and Logistics Officer to implement day-to-day, human resources, administrative and logistics tasks for the USAID Improved Access to Safe Drinking Water in Liberia Activity. The USAID/Liberia-funded Activity will strengthen water sector governance, create scalable models for equitable water service delivery, and mobilize collaborative action to improve access to clean water services. The purpose of the project is to move Liberians in Montserrado and Margibi counties to a basic level of water services. The Activity began on November 1, 2022, and will end on October 31, 2027.
POSITION MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Motor pool (vehicles, motorcycles) management including coordination of vehicle use amongst project staff, regular review of vehicle logs, monitoring fuel and other resource usage, regular vehicles maintenance and servicing and oversight of drivers as well as management of rented vehicles, when needed
- Coordinate travel for project staff and maintain travel policy and related documentation and handle travels arrangements for local and international guests including lodging and meal, planning local travel itinerary if required.
- Provide logistical and administrative support in organizing workshops, meetings, exchange visits, etc.
- Manage office administration including inventory, making timely arrangement to maintain internet faults, electricity, office building, furniture, and equipment in all the project facilities, and other tasks
- Handle customs clearance, Winrock business registration, tax clearance, Ministry of Labor quarterly labor reports, and tax exemption processes if needed.
- Maintain files related to administrative, logistical activities and transactions, and that they are in accordance with Winrock and USAID policies,
- Assess and organize logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage and distribution of supplies and establish proper warehousing and recording systems.
- Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and other HR process, maintain HR records in accordance with the labor law and Winrock International Policies and Procedures
- Coordinate and maintain office leases and other related contracts including cleaning and security services
- Oversee cleaning and security activities and maintain conducive work environment
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- S. or equivalent university degree in administration, human resources or related field
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in administration, HR, office management, and/or logistics, preferably in an NGO setting
- Knowledge of USAID procurement preferred
- Experience coordinating travel and other logistics
- Excellent computer software skills in MS Excel and Word
- Language:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with fluency in English required
SALARY:
The annual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position is not eligible for expatriate benefits and follows a Liberia salary scale.
