Compliance Manager (m/f/d) - Berlin Based

Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

This role is based in Berlin, relocation support provided.

Moonfare is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our global team. This integral role offers the opportunity to shape our compliance framework, ensuring seamless processes to mandatory AML regulations while delivering high- quality client satisfaction. You'll collaborate with a diverse range of investors, impact business success and work across various facets of our organisation.

You will:

• Ensure that Moonfare is compliant with relevant laws and regulations with focus on financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, bribery, corruption and other criminal activities
• Mitigate the risks associated with financial crimes protecting Moonfare’s reputation and assets whilst maintaining the integrity of financial systems
• Manage and coordinate compliance queries from operational departments
• You will support the implementation of framework and processes to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients
• Be responsible for keeping up to date with market practices, including attending conferences/ events

The Next Moonfarian:

• You will have 3-5 years of experience in AML/ KYC Compliance (Experience within fund industry is a plus, but not necessary)
• Previous experience or knowledge of CSSF/ BAFIN
• Experience of working with AIFMD/UCITS
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both German and English
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to challenge the status quo when necessary
