The WoW
As a Global Tax Contract Manager at Betsson you will work within the Global Tax Team with creating and monitoring the internal contracts relating to the various relationships within the global operations of the group spanning multiple countries and continents. The work is hands on and requires constant cooperation in a global setting and will primarily consist of assessing relationships and contract requirements, drafting, and ensuring their compliance with our internal as well as external demands. In addition, the role will also provide support for various ad hoc global tax projects. We are looking for a legally trained person with a solid understanding of contract drafting and experience of tax issues like PE, WHT and VAT. We are looking for a business minded person, preferably with previous in-house experience. We want you to be curious, structured and love working with others to contribute to the group’s success.
A FLAVOUR OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure high quality in the process for internal contracts
- Contract project management including drafting, and revising contracts
- Provide legal/tax advice in relation to contracting
- Assisting in the continuous transfer pricing work
- Assist with maintaining the group archive for internal contracts
- Ad hoc tax support to the Global Tax Team
What we are looking for
- Education: Preferably LLM – preferably with inhouse experience
- Curious personality
- Strong internal drive
- Basic knowledge of other tax areas
- Strong analytical skills to navigate tax complexities.
- Ability to collaborate with various departments (Payroll, Finance, Legal, etc.).
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
