Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Trading Algorithms: Design, develop, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies using MetaTrader 5.
• Backtesting and Optimization: Conduct thorough backtesting and optimization of trading strategies to ensure robustness and profitability.
• Market Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis and market research to identify trading opportunities.
• Strategy Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of live trading strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the quantitative research team to translate trading ideas into code.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of trading strategies and system architecture.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all strategies comply with regulatory standards and manage risk effectively.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in algorithmic trading development. Proven experience with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform and MQL5 programming.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MQL5 and other relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
• Strong understanding of trading strategies and financial markets.
• Experience with backtesting frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with risk management techniques and practices.

Analytical Skills

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) and low-latency trading systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques applied to trading.
• Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar are a plus.
