SproutsAi is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead and own our campus recruiting program in India. As the GM, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic growth plan to establish SproutsAi as a leader in the Indian campus recruiting market. You will build and manage a high-performing team, develop strong relationships with universities and colleges, and drive program adoption by our clients in India.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the SproutsAi campus recruiting program in India, driving user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Build and manage a high-performing team responsible for all aspects of the program in India, including sales, marketing, operations, and customer success.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and placement offices across India.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to generate awareness and interest in the SproutsAi campus recruiting program among potential clients and students.
- Partner with sales and account management teams to drive program adoption by existing and new clients in India.
- Oversee program implementation and ensure a seamless user experience for both universities/colleges and students.
- Analyze program performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the program budget and ensure profitability (PnL ownership).
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in campus recruiting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a proven track record of success in the education or technology sector.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of the Indian education landscape and campus recruiting market.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies and a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is a plus.
