Full Stack Developer Internship (MERN + Shopify) x1

About Us:
At Youth Research, we specialize in crafting innovative e-commerce solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Our team is dedicated to creating seamless and engaging online shopping experiences for our clients and their customers. We're currently seeking a motivated and passionate intern to join our team and assist in developing MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) applications integrated with Shopify.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our development team to build and maintain MERN stack applications integrated with Shopify.
• Assist in designing and implementing front-end interfaces using React.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to interact with Shopify's platform.
• Work on Shopify theme customization and app development to meet client requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across the stack.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in e-commerce development.
• Assist in writing technical documentation and test cases.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a relevant field such as computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and Shopify development.
• Basic understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Prior experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.

Duration:
This is a 3 to 6-month full time internship with the possibility of extension or transitioning into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
