About The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented GSOC lead to join our team in providing top-notch security monitoring and management services. The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to threat management, with a desire to grow in their career.
This role offers the unique opportunity to be part of the founding team of a new department in Cobalt AI, contributing to its development and success.
Full time 40 Hours a week + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Alarm Monitoring: Operate and monitor security systems, alert staff of incidents, escalate issues based on the threat matrix, and compile incident reports.
- Travel and Risk Management: Manage notifications, conduct global threat analyses, and communicate with travelers to provide support.
- Remote Credential Management: Assist with credentialing for new employees and vendors, and manage dual credentialing systems.
- Remote Access Management: Provide remote access to authorized personnel using security systems.
- Inbound Phone Call Management: Handle inbound phone calls, and provide customer service.
- Customized Reporting: Generate and deliver weekly, monthly, and annual reports on GSOC operations.
- Department Development: Play a key role in developing the new GSOC department, document processes, and contribute to its foundation and growth.
- Attend regular meetings to discuss the process and success of the role.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with various security systems, including access control and alarm monitoring platforms
- 2 + years of GSOC, SOC, or Command Center Experience (Preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in generating and interpreting security reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Self-motivated, proactive team player
Bonus Skills:
- Staff Management Experience
- Certifications in security management or related fields.
- Safety Management
- Familiarity with security systems such as CCURE, Genetec, Openpath, Lenel
- Experience in Travel Risk Management
