Sr. Software Development Engineer - Amazon AWS SDKs and Tools

Come join the AWS SDKs Release Platform Team that powering daily releases for AWS services into the AWS SDKs. Looking for full stack developers working with AWS web services, Java, and JavaScript (React) to expand our internal application, automation, testing, and other workflows. Key job responsibilities
Help AWS services release functionality to customers by building automation to replace process.

Work directly with your customers to understand what challenges they face and then build solutions to help them be more efficient.

Expand on our internal release platform web application, integrate with internal APIs and public AWS web services.

Work with Java and JavaScript. The majority of our system is built using Java and the front end is JavaScript (React).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with Java programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience, system design
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
