We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer Lead to spearhead our QA efforts and establish our testing team and methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Setup and Methodology Development:
   
   Create and implement comprehensive testing methodologies tailored to The Future University's unique needs. Define testing processes, frameworks, and tools to ensure top-quality standards across all our products and services.

2. Team Building and Leadership:
   
   Build and lead our QA team from the ground up. Recruit, onboard, and train QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to help them grow professionally.

3. Test Planning and Execution:
   
   Develop detailed test plans for each project, outlining testing objectives, timelines, and resources. Lead the execution of tests, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and address defects and issues.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
   
   Establish strong documentation practices for test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Generate regular reports on testing progress, findings, and outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to management and stakeholders.

5. Process Improvement and Optimization:
   
   Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Identify areas for automation, tooling, or process enhancements to streamline testing workflows and boost overall QA productivity.

6. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
   
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and customer support, to align testing efforts with business goals and objectives. Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring that testing activities support organisational priorities.

7. Quality Assurance Culture:
   
   Champion a culture of quality throughout the organisation, emphasising the importance of testing and quality assurance in delivering exceptional products and services. Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across all teams and departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of setting up and leading QA teams and methodologies.
• Strong technical background with expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, innovation, and change management initiatives.
