Backend Development Intern-Unpaid

We are seeking a Backend Development Intern to join our team and work on the backend development for our website and mobile app. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of backend development and be able to work efficiently in a team environment to ensure platform stability and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Implement backend logic and APIs for intelligent matching and personalized recommendation systems
• Handle backend development tasks for both the website and mobile app, ensuring high performance and security
• Manage data storage and queries to ensure efficient and secure data processing
• Maintain and optimize backend services for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with the AI Algorithm team to integrate algorithms and models
• Perform basic data engineering tasks, such as data pipelines and ETL processes

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages ( Node.js )
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of database management and operations (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience handling large-scale data and high-performance computing is a plus
• Familiarity with basic algorithms and data structures
• Experience with website and mobile app backend development and understanding of frontend-backend interactions
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant AI/Marketplace project or internship experience is a plus
