About the Sr. Frontend Engineer Role:

As a Sr. Frontend Engineer on the Platform Team, you’ll be joining a fun, passionate team that is dedicated to revolutionizing Web3 infrastructure by offering users an easy way to build, deploy and host websites and apps. Candidates must have a 4 hour overlap with ET to be considered for the role. Applicants should clearly demonstrate their experience or open-source contributions related to frontend development. This may include GitHub repositories, personal projects, or contributions to public projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Taking full ownership of frontend features and working autonomously
Writing technical documentation for user-facing features
Leading initiatives and taking features from 0-1
Collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to design, implement, and deploy high-quality frontend solutions for our Platform
Architecting efficient and reusable frontend components and libraries for future use
Implementing responsive and accessible user interfaces that provide seamless experiences across various devices and browsers
Optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability to handle growing user demands
Conducting in-depth code reviews, providing constructive feedback, mentoring junior members of the team and delegating to junior frontend developers
Participating in brainstorming sessions, sprint planning, and other team activities to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Awesome Experience You’ll Bring to Fleek:
5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on building complex web applications
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
Component library maintenance experience
Passionate about the architecture of the code base itself

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming and experience working with GraphQL
Experience with testing frameworks (Vitest, Jest, Playwright, etc)
Experience Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Added Bonus Skills:
Experience with Next.js, GraphQL and Radix
Web3 experience or contributed to open source projects
Developer tooling or platform as a service industry experience
Experience with GitHub Actions, AWS and Cloud
Previous experience working at a startup: ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements
