About the Team
The Fraud Experience team’s mission is to reduce the cost of fraud and build solutions to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters. The team is responsible for all the fraud-related client-side experiences on iOS, Android, and web for the marketplace. You'll help promote the delicate balance between providing our customers (Merchants, Dashers, and Consumers) the best experience possible while keeping bad actors at bay.
About the Role
DoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Fraud Experience engineering team. This team is responsible for developing fraud-related experiences and verification flows within all client applications for iOS, Android, and web. Your team will also develop externalizable SDKs that enable intelligent signal analysis and rapid anti-fraud response.
As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with product, design, and operations partners to define the roadmap to build anti-fraud mechanisms with minimal UX friction. You will manage a team of talented web and mobile engineers to build advanced fraud prevention solutions and solve challenging technical problems.

- BS, M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in people management leading frontend teams (web and mobile)
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment
- Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization
- Hands-on leadership and strong product intuition
- Humility - willing to get into the details and open to feedback

Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
