System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance, monitoring, and administration of servers, networks, and computer systems.

• User Management: Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Backup and Recovery: Help in implementing and managing backup and recovery solutions.
• Security: Assist in ensuring the security of IT infrastructure by monitoring systems and updating security measures.
• Software Installation and Updates: Install and update software applications and operating systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the senior IT staff and other departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Learning and Development: Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and common IT hardware/software.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
