About the Role

You will be an integral part of our team, focusing on the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the server-side logic that powers our applications. Your role will involve developing scalable and efficient code, managing data exchange between the servers and users, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop robust backend services by writing clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Design, implement, and maintain database schemas that capture the necessary information while providing high levels of data integrity, security, performance, and efficiency to facilitate big data processes and real-time analytics
• Ensure that server-side logic is properly integrated with the front-end components and serves end users' needs effectively by working closely with front-end developers, data scientists and product managers.
• Enhance existing systems, troubleshoot and debug applications, and evaluate current technologies to plan and implement improvements or modifications that will better serve the organizational needs.

Required skills and experiences

• More than 3 years experience in server-side development (javascript, python or rust based frameworks)
• More than 3 years experience in Postgres
• Experience with message queues
• Experience with microservices
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks and version control with Git
• Working knowledge and hands on experience with building and maintaining REST API
• Working knowledge and hands on experience with docker for containerization
• Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Azure
