Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Location: 100% Remote (Mexico Time Zone)
Type: Full-time, 12-month contractor

Salary: $2.300,00 USD/month

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with advanced English skills to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience designing relational (OLTP)
and dimensional (OLAP) models, as well as analyzing and interpreting requirements.
Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse implementations is required, with a
nice-to-have in cloud technologies (AWS, others).

Responsibilities:
● Work with business users to gather data requirements and analyze data from
source systems.
● Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational
(OLTP) and dimensional (OLAP) models.
● Collaborate closely with architects and technical/application developers to
implement on-premise and cloud solution architecture.
● Communicate physical database designs and work with database/cloud
administrators to implement databases.
● Document data flows, identify data sources, entities, relationships, and
appropriate redundancies.
● Manage data integrity and quality.
● Maintain technical and business metadata.
● Design data structures and document meanings, definitions, and intended use of
data.
● Collaborate with various departments/leaders and data administrators to make
metadata available.
● Define and document data architecture for operational databases, reporting and
provisioning platforms, including physical components and functionality.
● Support data strategies, standards, guidelines, data quality processes, and
governance across the enterprise.
● Provide leadership in researching and designing emerging technological
solutions to meet business objectives.

Requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in designing relational and dimensional data models.
● Advanced English skills.
● Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse implementations.
● Nice-to-have: Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, others).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
