It’s under development with lots of challenges, but the number of applications developed with our product is increasing. In fact, there is a case where a mobile application was developed about 10 times faster than usual.

Job Overview

Our business is growing steadily, and we are seeking a talented Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to join our team. Your role will be crucial in testing our projects. As the first QA engineer on the team, you will closely collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, project managers, and designers in our squad-based work environment.

We are interested in candidates who have experience in both manual and automated tests, and who understand databases, code structures, and how to validate results from third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure high-quality standards and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and uncover issues in the early stages of development.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate new features and functionalities.
• Validate DBs and code results from 3rd-party services in a technical manner.
• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineers, project managers, and designers.
• Perform regression testing and participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Setup and create automation tests.

Capabilities

• Demonstrate both fundamental and practical knowledge in your field of expertise.
• Develop detailed test cases, conduct end-to-end testing, smoke tests, acceptance tests, and perform ad-hoc testing to ensure quality standards are met within agreed timelines, with or without specific guidance.
• Possess experience with various QA methodologies.
• Be knowledgeable and conversant with the Agile approach.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively with the project team.
• Absorb new information when it's clearly explained and apply it effectively.
• Assist your teammates by providing reviews, feedback, and guidance during the onboarding process as needed.
• Be familiar with AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role.
• Expertise in testing methodologies, the formulation of test cases, and the execution of tests.
• 1+ years of expertise in automation testing using Ruby or JavaScript, as well as proficiency in HTML/CSS and XPath requests.
• Have understanding in DB and code.
• Knowledge on how web applications are built and the potential components and layers involved.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in English at a business level, demonstrating effective communication skills for professional interactions and collaborations.
• Strong motivation to utilise AI technology.
• Ability to prepare remote work environment where you can focus on your work with stable internet provide.
• Executing tasks independently with a strong emphasis on prioritization and a commendable level of dedication.
• Demonstrating a high sense of responsibility and maintaining a focus on product quality.
