User Research Focus Group/Beta Tester (Volunteer)

As a User Research Focus Group/Beta Tester, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable feedback and insights to improve the UX/UI design and functionality of our platform. You will actively participate in user testing sessions, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with our design and development teams to enhance the overall user experience.

Blockchain gaming is one of the fastest-growing industries in Web3, with a compound growth rate expected to reach 68.3%. However, the industry faces challenges with centralized ownership and control by a few game studios. VPLAY envisions a future where decentralized games and metaverses owned by communities thrive. To address the industry's needs, VPLAY is developing innovative solutions, including a ChatGPT for blockchain games.

*Main Solutions: *
VPLAY is currently focused on developing two main solutions:

1. Analytics Engine and Dashboards: Designed for gamers, this solution provides a centralized platform for accessing news, updates, and trends within the blockchain gaming industry. Users can customize their dashboards to track the latest games, play-to-earn opportunities, and more.

2. ChatGPT-Style Chatbot for Blockchain Gaming: This solution leverages natural language processing to offer real-time insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical users. Users can ask questions in plain language and receive responses in the form of graphs, charts, and text-based recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in user research focus groups and beta testing sessions.
• Provide feedback on UX/UI design, functionality, and overall user experience.
• Test new features, functionalities, and updates across different platforms and devices.
• Identify and report bugs, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement feedback and enhancements.
• Help prioritize UX/UI improvements based on user feedback and research findings.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in GameFi data metrics, particularly in play-to-earn and free-to-play gaming models.
• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics used in the gaming industry.
• Experience in analyzing user behavior data, gameplay metrics, and engagement analytics.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• This is a volunteer position, and there is no monetary compensation.
• Volunteers will receive acknowledgment for their contributions and valuable experience in user research and beta testing.
• The Sydney-based role requires in-person attendance at our office in Sydney CBD. Remote volunteers can participate from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
