Mobile App Developer (Full Stack)

We are looking for a motivated Mobile App Developer (Junior to Mid-level) to join our team remotely and help build our Hindi Curriculum mobile application. This is a 100% remote role designed for an disciplined developer who wants to work on a meaningful, real-world EdTech product that makes learning Hindi engaging and accessible.

In this role, you will help develop interactive curriculum features, manage language localization (handling the Devanagari script), and integrate multimedia tools. You must have experience in taking features from concept to production.

Prerequisites (Mandatory)

To be considered for this role, you must provide:
• Working App Sample: Links to at least one live or working application you have developed or heavily contributed to (App Store, Play Store, or a downloadable APK/TestFlight link).
• GitHub Samples: Access to your GitHub profile or public code repositories demonstrating clean, structured, and well-documented mobile development code.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Assist in building and refining app features like interactive quizzes, flashcards, progress trackers, and audio playback tools.
• UI & Localization: Implement responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on seamless Hindi/English text rendering and localization toggles.
• API Integration: Connect the app frontend to backend services using RESTful APIs to sync student progress and load curriculum data.
• Debugging & Testing: Identify bugs, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure the app runs smoothly across various screen sizes and OS versions.
• AI Integration: Integrate AI coach to drive engagement, gamification etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Frameworks: Practical experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter or React Native) OR native development (Kotlin for Android / Swift for iOS).
• Core Concepts: Solid understanding of state management, mobile UI layouts, asynchronous programming, and consuming JSON APIs.
• Version Control: Comfortable using Git/GitHub for branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and self-discipline to thrive in a fully remote working environment.

Bonus Points

• Experience or interest in the EdTech or language-learning space.
• Familiarity with managing local databases (SQLite, Hive, etc.) for offline app access.
