The Role
Your Role: Director, Strategy & Operations
Reporting directly to the COO, you will help drive the execution of our strategic objectives for the company, optimize business operations, provide valuable insights, analytics and research and lead a team that contributes to the sustainable growth and success of CrowdRiff. This role focuses on maximizing CrowdRiff’s productivity and performance through metrics, KPIs, and business intelligence.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a dedicated team responsible for Revenue Operations and Business Intelligence activities. This includes optimizing revenue generation processes, leveraging data analytics for strategic insights, and driving data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
- Management of research, investigation and analysis of new partnerships, markets, and strategies providing guidance, advice and strategic planning to support future growth; providing insight into opportunities, gaps and risks.
- Support for and project management of corporate investment and funding, including due diligence activities, business acquisitions and partnerships.
- Providing recommendations to senior leadership on continuous improvement opportunities, focused on making time, information, and decision processes more effective.
- Optimize key business operations, ensuring effective execution and follow-through on actions. Execute the end-to-end OKR planning and reporting process.
- Preparation of materials and supporting documentation and assets to support executive level presentations, board support and other initiatives.
- Support and execution of company wide business cycle planning processes.
- Provide support to the executive team to deliver adhoc reporting and insights.
What You’ll Need:
- Excellent people leadership skills, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams and/or projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive results with senior leadership
- Strategic and operational work experience
- Ability to dive into difficult, complex and ambiguous problems and come up with solutions
- Needs to have familiarity and be comfortable with our tech stack (BigQuery, Salesforce, Airtable, etc.) to be able to create reports and effectively navigate the data
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication
- Experience making data-driven decisions with superior analytical and data synthesis skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables
- History of working cross-functionally to move projects forward
- Evidence of success in leading key business initiatives. Demonstrated ability to take a project from ideation through to implementation.
- Experience at a strategy consulting firm and/or working across multiple functions at a fast growing company
- 8+ years of work experience. Ideally, 4+ years experience in high growth startup environments
