Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Team Lead. The Design Team Lead will be responsible for leading, managing, and inspiring a team of designers to deliver exceptional creative solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into design solutions, overseeing project management, and providing design direction and feedback.
Responsibilities
Design Leadership:
- Provide creative direction and leadership to the design team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across all channels.
- Inspire and mentor team members to foster a culture of creativity and innovation.
Design Strategy:
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance design processes.
Project Management:
- Oversee multiple design projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design assets that meet client and internal expectations.
Client Interaction:
- Work closely with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.
- Present design concepts and ideas to clients, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
Quality Assurance
- Uphold design standards and ensure the consistency and quality of all design deliverables.
- Conduct regular design reviews to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
Collaboration
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication among team members.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate design with overall business strategies.
Qualifications
- Communication and Collaboration skills
- Team Leadership and Management skills
- Project Management skills
- 7-8 years of experience in a design role, with at least 6years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Experience in leading a design team and delivering successful projects
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in industry- standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, AI based tools
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback on design work
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field
- Experience in working with global clients and managing remote teams
- Proven experience working in a creative agency setting.
