Senior Mobile Engineer

Xverse is the most advanced and user-friendly Bitcoin wallet, supporting Ordinals, Runes, BRC20, Stacks and Rare Sats. Our team is globally distributed, agile and fast moving. Ultimately we are focused on onboarding the next 100 million users to web3. And we are positioning ourselves to be the go to wallet and gateway.

Our foundational product is the mobile wallet and we are looking for someone with deep experience in cross-platform mobile development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of developing DeFi or FinTech mobile applications for millions of users and possess a deep passion for Bitcoin/ Crypto/DeFi.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and architect the Xverse mobile wallet.
• Collaborate with the product manager, product designer and our engineering team to define and ship new features and enhancements.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap for the mobile wallet, prioritizing initiatives that align with our goals and user needs.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to the maintenance of high coding standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Has a proven track record of developing high-quality, consumer-facing mobile applications, with at least 5 years of experience in mobile development, preferably in crypto/web3 or other Defi products
• Possesses deep expertise in cross-platform frameworks especially React Native, and familiarity with native mobile development (iOS/Android)
• Passionate about blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3 technologies
• Exhibits strong leadership skills, with the ability and humility to inspire and lead a small team engineers
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for innovative and creative solutions.
• Comfortable to work with loose requirements.
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
