Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures. The role demands a deep understanding of algorithmic design, data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and serverless architectures. This position involves complex problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
• Work closely with the development team to implement feature development plans.
• Conduct algorithm analysis, and design and develop algorithms that meet business needs.
• Implement data storage solutions and ensure the integrity and security of data.
• Use serverless architectures to enhance application scalability and manageability.
• Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a PHP developer, including hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Slim, Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
• Proficient understanding of algorithmic design, data structures, and OOP concepts.
• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Additional Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
