Business Development Intern

Behaivior is an award-winning digital health company dedicated to delivering evidence-based, accessible mental health and substance use recovery support. We leverage AI, wearables, and behavioral health technology to close critical care gaps and prevent crises – shifting behavioral health care from reactive to proactive. Our mission is to transform mental health and addiction recovery with predictive, personalized, and accessible care, while reducing the burdens care providers and care teams face through our innovative software and AI-driven solutions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a business development-focused intern to be a part of a team that is innovative and driven by social good. Internship projects may be task-focused, independent, or collaborative and can include, but are not limited to: marketing and outreach, social media content creation and strategy, SEO, grant, proposal, and blog post writing, product design, video, slide deck, and other content creation, and use of technical skills, if applicable. Interns are welcome to communicate their areas of interest and specialization to enhance their learning experience.

We accept internship applications on a rolling basis. When applying, please specify your desired start period (e.g., Fall 2025 or Winter 2025). We welcome interest from U.S.- or Canada-based individuals of any age, including students, student groups, those switching careers, seeking new skills, and more. We require a minimum 3-month and 15-hour-per-week commitment, though interns are welcome to choose a longer duration upfront, or extend their internship. Office Environment: The Behaivior team, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, works primarily remotely and has a fun, flexible working environment. At this time, we can only offer internships for learning experience and school/course credits due to limited internship program funding availability. We encourage students to talk with their academic advisors to see if their universities offer programs that provide internship stipends. This position is not employment but rather an intern position to be performed during your breaks from work or another initiative, as well as by way of integration with your normal schedule or other projects. Many educational programs have requirements and restrictions for internships. Please speak to your advisor in advance of applying to understand your eligibility.
